Sourcing

Articles rest on primary documents: filings, notices, contracts, court records and the companies' own statements. Every figure says whose it is. A claim a company makes is reported as that company's claim, and a figure an analyst estimates is called an estimate. Where a fact could not be verified, the page says so rather than leaving it out.

Corrections

An error of fact is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, usually the same day. The corrected article carries an "Updated" date in its byline and a "Correction" line above the text saying what was wrong and what it now says. Every correction is listed on thecorrections page. To report one, write to[email protected].

Reference tables

Each table shows the date it was last checked against its source, under "Checked". A check compares the live source with every row and changes only what the source changed. A row marked "contested" could not be fully verified from the primary document, and its note says what it rests on instead. Every table lists its sources underneath, and a row read from its own document links to it. The tables and their CSV downloads are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, with credit to FlightBrief; each one carries a ready-made citation.

No payment is accepted for coverage. Sponsored content, if published, is labeled as such and is never written as news. AI tools are used for research and drafting. Every figure is checked against its source and every page is edited by Delfim de Almeidabefore it is published. Generated images are illustrations, captioned as such, and are never presented as photographs.
