The Parrot ANAFI USA GOV is a 500 g folding quadcopter for police, fire and government users, with two 1/2.4-inch daylight sensors, 32× digital zoom, a Teledyne FLIR Boson thermal camera and 32 minutes of flight. The Department of Homeland Security recorded its GSA price as $13,964 in its 2025 assessment of drones on the Pentagon’s Blue UAS list. The official list dates both ANAFI USA entries 25 August 2022.
Parrot is a French company. It sells the ANAFI USA as “Made in the U.S.A.”, NDAA and TAA compliant and Blue UAS approved. The GOV version pairs the aircraft with the Skycontroller USA, a ruggedised controller built around an 8-inch Samsung tablet.

Use Cases
Police and fire departments that need thermal search capability and must buy from the Blue UAS list, either because they spend federal money or because their state bars Chinese-made drones for public agencies. Small agencies buying their first compliant aircraft, for whom the $28,382 GSA price of a Skydio X10D is out of reach. Bridge and structure inspection, where the upward-looking gimbal matters.
Market Context
The enterprise drone guide calls the ANAFI USA GOV the cheapest credible compliant thermal option and the budget entry for public safety. DHS’s assessment explains the price. Its evaluators scored five Blue UAS drones for first responders; the ANAFI USA GOV scored 3.1 of 5 overall, level with Ascent AeroSystems’ Spirit and behind Freefly’s Astro at 3.5 and the X10D variant of the Skydio X10 at 4.0, and received the lowest score of the five for thermal camera acuity, with evaluators citing its low infrared resolution. The Teal 2 scored lowest overall at 2.7.
Where the aircraft is made decides how the September 2026 drone tariffs treat it. The guide describes it as French-made, which would put a thermal drone in the 100% band subject to the EU cap and the Blue UAS deferral; Parrot markets it as made in the USA, and an aircraft built in the US is not an import. FlightBrief has not established where units sold today are assembled.
Amazon US carries a listing for the GOV edition, shown as currently unavailable on 9 October 2026.
